Do you still have more holiday shopping to do? Don’t worry! Over the next several days, you’ll have copious opportunities to tackle your shopping list in various communities and at diverse businesses Up North.

 

December 12

Crandon’s Christmas Wholibation – Crandon

Tricia’s Treasures & Bistro, Rustic Allure, and Creative Screenprinting & Embroidery will be joining forces to have their first-ever Christmas Whobilation at 5 p.m. on December 12. Stop by the shops for a kid-friendly meet-and-greet and photo op with the Grinch himself and a guest appearance by Cindy Lou Who. The boutiques will be offering discounts, door prizes, and refreshments.

 

Open House – The Sandbar – Ashland

The Sandbar will be hosting an all-day open house where you can sample foodie gifts and other free goodies as you complete your shopping list. You’ll also have a chance to win a one-night stay at the Blue Wave Inn.

 

The Local Gift Bar – Timekeeper Distillery – Wausau

The Local Wausau and sister store The Local Weston are shops that take pride in selling goods handcrafted in Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest. If you’re looking for last-minute gifts for your loved ones who love all things Wisconsin, The Local will have a pop-up shop at Timekeeper Distillery with a selection of their wares as well as supplies for you to create your own unique gift basket. While you’re there, sip a cocktail, grab a snack, and enjoy the live music.

 

December 13–14

Kula Ranch – Eagle River

This weekend, kids have the opportunity to create their very own holiday gift boxes. Choosing from a great assortment of Kula Ranch Kitchen’s locally raised goodies, kids can determine exactly what goes into their gift boxes and how they will look. Gift boxes start at $15. Please reserve your spot by calling or texting 715-891-3207.

Kids and adults are also invited to shop in Kula Ranch’s She Shed for unique, affordable gifts. You will draw a discount ticket at checkout for surprise savings. Kula Ranch offers gift boxes ready for pick-up, mulled wine for the grown-ups, and sweets for all. Hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

 

December 14

Island Boutique – La Pointe

Head to Madeline Island to shop for your loved ones. Local and regional makers will be selling arts and crafts, and there will be a soup lunch to benefit the island’s school parent/teacher association. With the purchase of any item during the event, you will receive one free return passenger ticket to the mainland (available only at the Madeline Island Museum and for use only during the day of the Island Boutique). After the Boutique, let your holiday spirit permeate the air as you witness the annual tree lighting and sing-along at the pergola on Madeline Island’s ferry dock from 4 to 4:20 p.m.

 

Mistletoe Magic – Eagle River

While you shop for your loved ones in Eagle River this Saturday, December 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., look for the large mistletoe signs on store windows. Come inside and register to win special gifts at the participating stores—which include Arrow Gift Shop, Buckshots Downtown, Cotton + Birch, Eagle Craft & Hobby, Fredrick’s Corner Shoppe, Fountain Blu, Glik’s, Grandma’s Toy Box, Moccasin Shop & Gift, Salon & Spa on Railroad, Synergy Salon & Spa, The Hiker Box, Trig’s, Tremblay’s Fudge Shop, Walkabout Paddle & Apparel, and Wall Street Hometown Pharmacy. While you’re in town, enjoy a horse-drawn sleigh ride between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

 

Last-Minute Holiday Craft and Vendor Show – Eagle River Elementary School – Eagle River

This kid-friendly event, held this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., features an amazing collection of talented artists, crafters, upcycled and refurbished goods designers, and direct sales vendors from the Northwoods.

 

Central Wisconsin Christmas Expo – Central Wisconsin Convention & Expo Center – Rothschild

On December 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on December 15, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., a large variety of businesses and makers will be selling their specialty and handcrafted items. Enjoy delicious refreshments as you shop!

 

Santa’s Workshop Craft Show & More – Eron’s Event Barn, LLC – Stevens Point

A day full of fun and holiday joy is before you and your family at this event. You can get all your Christmas shopping done in one place, as more than 40 vendors will be on-site selling homemade items. But that’s not all! There will be opportunities to meet Santa, horse-drawn wagon rides, craft projects, and delicious food at the 4-H Club’s booth. Parking and admission are free. The event starts at 10 a.m.

 

Holiday Boutique – Washburn Cultural Center – Washburn

Starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, come to the Washburn Cultural Center for a day of merry holiday shopping. Nearly 30 vendors, artists, and craftspeople—as well as the fine arts, antiques, and classic records you can find at the center’s Antique Shop and Vinyl Vault—will help you finish your holiday shopping. The Washburn Area Historical Society will be offering tempting baked goods to keep your energy level and spirits high!

 

Christmas Craft Show – The Lanes – Park Falls

Starting at noon on December 14, more than 20 vendors will be selling both handcrafted and more commercial gift items. Santa will also be there with treats for the kids from 1 to 3 p.m.

 

Winter Solstice Market – Algomah Acres Honey House Meadery – Greenland, Michigan

A day of shopping and sampling the delectable mead and gourmet foods awaits you at Algomah Acres Honey House Meadery on Saturday, December 14, starting at 11 a.m. With vendors selling handmade art and fine crafts, there will be something for everyone on your list.

 

December 14–15

10th Annual Deck the Mall Holiday Bazaar – Cedar Creek Mall – Rothschild

On December 14 and 15, Cedar Creek Mall in Rothschild will become a holiday bazaar with shopping, pictures with Santa, face painting, and more! Cedar Creek Nutrition Shop (right next to the Marcus Theater) will be open for coffee, shakes, and teas. Crafters and vendors will be selling goods including candles, homemade body care items, food (from beef sticks to cookies and everything in between), books, and clothing and accessories (including Thirty-One Gifts and LuLaRoe).

 

December 15

Support Our Three Lakes Locals Event – NorthLand Clothing Co. – Three Lakes

On December 15, from 1 to 4 p.m., stop in NorthLand Clothing Co. to find the perfect gift for that hard-to-shop-for person on your list. There will be in-store discounts on NorthLand clothing, Thirty-One bags, Jewelry By Susan, wares by local woodworkers (shelves, coat racks, and more), crafts by Big Lake Creations, Pampered Chef products, Mary Kay products and demonstrations, and more. Open House – Salon & Spa on Railroad Street – Eagle River

If you’re shopping for people who deserve some spa-like rest and rejuvenation or if you want to relieve some of your own holiday stress, come to the Salon & Spa Holiday Open House, starting at 4 p.m. on Monday, December 16. Be pampered with complimentary mini spa services such as chair massages, mini facials, and hand massages. Shop Local, Shop Late – Washburn

On Wednesday, December 18, from 5 to 8 p.m., Washburn shops and restaurants will be offering specials to customers during this holiday shopping event.
