Treat Your (Future) Self While Giving Your Favorite Up North Spas and Salons Some TLC, Too.

We know you’re going through a lot right now. When this is all over, you definitely deserve to indulge in some extra pampering and TLC. And—let’s face it—you’ll probably really need a haircut, too.
Like many businesses, salons and spas—and the hairstylists, massage therapists, estheticians, nail technicians, and other spa and salon service providers who work there—are facing major challenges right now. Salons and spas are temporarily closed while Safer At Home orders are in place. And without the cash flow from the services they provide their clientele, it will be difficult for some salons and spas to open their doors again when restrictions have been lifted. There may be great obstacles for some stylists, estheticians, and technicians to get back on their feet and behind their chairs.
While it may not be possible to book an appointment at your favorite Northwoods salon or spa right now, there are other ways you can support these valuable businesses and their service providers.
Buy a gift card to treat your friend, your family member, or your future self.
Consider buying a gift card to your favorite Northwoods salon or spa. Buy one for your future self. Buy one for your friend who has been doing an amazing job (but running herself ragged) while managing her newly work-from-home job and temporarily homeschooling her kids for the first time. Buy one for your mom who you can’t wait to hug when the threat of the virus is long gone—Mothers’ Day is coming up, after all.
Many of the top-notch beauty professionals in our region are offering discounts on gift cards right now. As of the time of this writing, these local businesses are offerings discounts (always be sure to check the businesses’ websites for their most current offerings and discounts):
