Northwoods Restaurants and Cafes Provide Safe and Delicious Delivery and Takeout Options

Northwoods restaurant and cafe owners show admirable commitment to serving their hungry patrons with the utmost attention to health and safety. Many businesses are adding or expanding their carryout and delivery services in light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the restrictions in place in Wisconsin. (As of the time of this writing, restaurants and bars will be closed, excepting delivery and takeout, as groups of 10 or more people will be banned.) Ordering delivery or takeout from your favorite Northwoods restaurant or cafe is a wonderful way to enjoy some comfort food and normalcy—or maybe just some much-needed coffee—during uncertain times while supporting our priceless small businesses of the Northwoods. Here are some of the cafes and restaurants now offering delivery or takeout.

Black Forest Pub & Grille – Three Lakes

Black Forest Pub & Grill have added curbside service. For those who are housebound, they offer complimentary delivery within 15 miles.

The Boathouse – Minocqua

The Boathouse will be offering takeout: lunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and dinner from 4 to 9 p.m. (10 p.m. on Saturdays). Their takeout menu is posted on their Facebook page.

Briar House – Rhinelander

The Briar House is temporarily providing curbside pickup only. They will accept debit and credit cards over the phone (no case, please). They will deliver your drinks to your vehicle when you arrive. Please call (715) 369-2498 to place your order.

Brown Street 151 – Rhinelander

Effective March 17, Brown Street 151 will remain in operation for takeout orders only, which is limited to their brick oven pizzas, available Tuesday through Saturday, 3 to 9 p.m.

Bucketheads Sports Bar and Grill – Rhinelander

Bucketheads will offer home deliveries and curbside pickup options, beginning Wednesday, March 18.

Casa Mexicana – Rhinelander

Casa Mexicana will temporarily be offering curbside pickup as well as deliver to Rhinelander homes and businesses (within a 15-minute drive). Delivery orders can be placed over the phone but preferably using their online ordering service via their Facebook page or website, www.casamexicanarhinelander.com, to ensure all information is entered properly. There is a $5 charge for deliveries and a $20 minimum per order. Delivery is available from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Cassidy’s Cafe – Wabeno

Cassidy’s Cafe is offering $1 off every regular menu item. They offer curbside pickup and will be offering delivery in the very near future. Check their Facebook page for updates.

Chef Rene’s – Eagle River

Chef Rene’s offers carryout options.

Crimson Curry Cafe – Rhinelander

Crimson Curry Cafe will begin delivery within the City of Rhinelander today, March 17, for lunch. The first delivery starts at 11:30 a.m., and they will proceed every half-hour, with the last delivery at 3 p.m. There is a minimum order of two lunches or four drinks. There is no extra delivery charge. While they can deliver drinks, they unfortunately can’t deliver cocktails! Only credit or debit card is accepted for delivery. CT’s Deli – Rhinelander

CT’s continues to offer carryout meals. You are welcome to call in your order and then call when you arrive at CT’s Deli; the staff will be happy to bring your order curbside for you. To order, call (715) 369-8988, or order online at www.cheftomsdeli.com.

Eagle River Roasters – Eagle River Roasters

Eagle River Roasters’ patrons can call ahead and order takeout. There is a drive-up window. Call (715) 479-7995 to place an order.

Little Creek Coffee – Woodruff

At Little Creek Coffee, you can call in your food and drink order. They’ll prepare your order and deliver it to your vehicle. Credit card transactions only.

Minocqua Brewing Company’s Minocqua Sandwich Company – Minocqua

The Minocqua Brewing Company will be launching the Minocqua Sandwich Company on Tuesday, March 24. They will be offering sandwich delivery to Minocqua, Woodruff, Arbor Vitae, Hazelhurst, and Lake Tomahawk.

Sweetwater Spirits & Resort – Eagle River

Sweetwater offers takeout and can bring your order right to your vehicle. Call (715) 479-4872.

Wild Berry Market – Minocqua

Wild Berry now offers you the option of calling in your lunch order and having it brought to your vehicle with touch-free delivery. Please call 715-356-2635 x3 to order; the kitchen will then transfer your call to the front register, and you can pay by credit card.
