Are you looking for a way to get some exercise and fun while you’re in the Northwoods this winter without having to withstand the frigid temperatures? Check out the new Hodag Dome!

Soccer at the Hodag Dome

Located in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, the Hodag Dome is a climate-controlled, air-supported dome. It serves as a perfect indoor space not only for sports practices, games, and meets, but also for community activities, events, and gatherings. At an awe-inspiring 128,000 square feet, it is the largest air-support high school dome in the United States.

Recently opened to the community in early February 2021, the possible uses of this impressive multi-use facility are virtually endless!  The space includes:

  • A regulation-size football field and soccer field
  • Two regulation-size softball or youth baseball diamonds
  • A 100-meter straight track
  • A community walking track
  • Tennis courts
  • Pickleball courts
  • Interchangeable sports courts for basketball and volleyball
  • Futsal courts
  • Batting cages
  • Gymnastics spaces

Golf simulators will be coming soon, too!
