The race will be held downtown Minocqua at the Bearskin Park, near the trestle.  This is a fun run that you can run with your dog.  If you don’t have a dog, borrow one from your friends or family OR simply sign up for the NO DOG division.  Bring the entire family.

The Lakeland Area Dog Park will be the beneficiary of this year’s event.

Paws on the Run Event Description

The 4th annual race begins and ends on Lakeshore Drive near the Town Parking Lot.  Event check in and Race Day Registration begins at 7:00 am at the Bearskin Park downtown Minocqua WI.  The race starts promptly at 8:00 am.   If you don’t have a dog, no worries, you can still participate in the event and join in the fun.  We have added an awards category for those who could not bring a dog.  This 5K event is open to anyone that enjoys being around mans best friend.

Only online registrations received before June 14 will be guaranteed a t-shirt because that’s our order deadline.

Bring a leash or a running harness attached to your belt.  All dogs must be kept under control and be up to date on all vaccinations.  Owners are responsible for their dog’s behavior.  This is a great excuse to get a little exercise and enjoy quality time with your dog.

Refreshments will be provided for both the owners and the dogs.
