Visit the Old Victoria Historical Site this Sunday, August 17th to experience a piece of history at the 42nd Annual Craft Fair. The free event will take place on the grounds of the historic copper mining village just outside of Rockland from 10 am to 5 pm.

Three of the four restored cabins and the sauna will be open for self-guided tours free of charge for the event. As you step into the hand-hewn log cabins, you can see how the miners and their families lived. Tour guides will be available to share the history of the Victoria Copper Mine and the people that braved the wilderness to live and work there.

Visitors can browse a wide variety of arts, crafts, and food products from talented local artisans on the rolling lawn of the heritage site. At 1:30 pm EST, old-fashioned kids games will take place on the upper lawn, including sack races, water relays and more. Children who participate always have loads of fun earning small treats with the friendly competitions, and the games are a blast for adults to watch as well.
