This free, family-friendly event aims to recognize the service of many and the role of Aviation in the Armed Forces while introducing and exposing youth to the many faces of aerospace and the future of aviation in Wisconsin. The day begins with a free youth run and Kiwanis pancake breakfast. Featuring the B25 Miss Mitchell and National Guard Black Hawk Helicopter along with guest speaker Dr. Carlene Mendieta & the Avro Avian, recounting her Earhart Transcontinental Flight recreation. Activities, tours of Learn Build Fly Education Center, Civil Air Patrol aircraft pre-flights, and RC Sport Demos will keep families active throughout the day.
