Celebrate the Luck o’ the Irish at These Northern Wisconsin St. Patrick’s Day Events

Whether you are looking for a festive parade, an opportunity to move your legs after hibernating all winter long, some green beer, or just good cheer—you’ll love taking part in these fun St. Patrick’s Day events taking place throughout northern Wisconsin this March to commemorate the patron saint of Ireland.

 

St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Pub Crawl – Rhinelander

March 12

The 11th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade will be marching through the streets of downtown Rhinelander on Saturday, March 12, at 1:30 p.m. Whether you choose to be part of the parade or a spectator on the sidewalk, you’re sure to have a great time. After the parade, join in the Pub Crawl for delicious green-tinted food and beverages, fun with family and friends, and your chance to win prizes. Pub crawl tickets are $5. Paddy’s Plunge

March 12

Take the plunge and head to Three Lakes on Saturday, March 12, for the inaugural Paddy’s Plung! A quick 164-foot dash leads you to your icy dip in Maple Lake. Brr! You’ll be able t warm up in a hot tub (with a beer) after your plunge. Registration starts at 10 a.m., and first dip is at 11 a.m.  Coyote 93.7 will be broadcasting live during the event, and the Three Lakes Lions will be there to supply beer and brats. Pickerel-Pearson St. Patrick’s Day Parade – Pickerel-Pearson

March 12

The 31st Annual Pickerel-Pearson St. Patrick’s Day Parade will begin at noon on Saturday, March 12, by the Country Inn Restaurant (N9195 State Road 55, Pickerel). Head inside the Country Inn before or after the festive parade. Country Inn will be open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a great breakfast before the parade! For more information, call (715) 484-3121.

 

Annual Shamrock Shuffle – Hayward

March 19

Lace up those green running shoes because the Annual Shamrock Shuffle is coming to beautiful Main Street Hayward on Saturday, March 19. Events will kick off with the Kids’ 1K Race at 9:50 a.m., followed by the 5K Race at 10 a.m. Register for the 5K Run/Walk for $30 or the 1K Run/Walk for $22. St. Patrick’s Day Celebration – Webb Lake

March 19

Everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day—and again on Saturday, March 19, when Webb Lake holds its annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. The parade starts at 1 p.m. and runs between the Webb Lake Fire Hall and the Lumberjack Saloon & Eatery. Most restaurants will have food, drink, entertainment, and fun following the parade.
