43rd Annual Lake Gogebic Walleye Tournament Scheduled for September 11 and 12

The 43rd Annual Lake Gogebic Walleye Tournament, in memory of John Murphy, Jr., will be held on September 11 and 12, 2020. Participate for your chance of winning the $2,000 grand prize (and trophy), $1,000 second prize, $400 third prize, fourth–tenth-place prizes for walleye, and daily prizes for largest bass, perch, and northern pike—that’s thousands of dollars in cash and prizes! Catch and release is appreciated.
Starting time on Friday and Saturday is 8 a.m. Eastern (7 a.m. Central), and ending time is 5 p.m. Eastern (4 p.m. Central). Check-in stations are Hoop ’n Holler and Gogebic Lodge. All fish must be checked in at either of these stations. Boat inspection takes place from 7 to 9 a.m. Eastern (6 to 7 a.m. Central) at Hoop ’n Holler, Gogebic Lodge, and Bergland Dock.
Register by August 27 for a special early-bird fee of $50 and your chance to win the early-bird drawing for a surprise from the Murphy family! After August 27, the entry fee is $75.
After a great day of fishing, enjoy dinner at the Gogebic Lodge after the tournament—free to all contestants.
