DESCRIPTION:The Langlade County Fair is truly a Family Event. There is much for the family to take in. Watch for the many strolling acts on the midway and then sit a while to enjoy the family entertainment on the Multi-Purpose Stage. Over 15 different food booths to satisfy your hunger. Information and merchandise from over 30 vendors in the Commercial Building. For the thrill seekers\, there are over 30 carnival rides for the young and older youth. \nThe Grandstand has action-packed entertainment with the Comic Trio of Kevin Cahak\, Mike Marvell\, and Rocky LaPorte\, Dirt Kings Late Model Tour\, Demo Derby\, and tractor pulls along with musical entertainment nightly in the Midway Tent. On Thursday night Nashville recording artist Chad Brock\, Ashley Barron\, and Jarrod Turner will be under the tent to kick off the fair. \nThree auctions take place during the week\, market animal\, small animal\, and cake auction. There are over 5000 4-H exhibits in four different buildings. Dairy\, Beef\, Swine\, Lamb\, Cat\, Rabbit\, and Horse shows happen throughout the fair. \nThere is no Gate Fee to enter the grounds on foot. If parking within the fairgrounds there is a $5.00 per day parking donation. This donation benefits the local club. SEE YOU AT THE FAIR! \n

SUMMARY:Lions Club Roaring Raceway Off-Road Race
DESCRIPTION:The Antigo Lions Roaring Raceway is coming back for its fourth annual AMSOIL Championship Off-Road Races.  Enjoy the 2-day thrill of the high-speed action at the Langlade County Fairgrounds on June 6-8\, 2025. \nRacing schedules\, tickets\, parking\, and camping information are available online. \nUpon arrival\, spectators are directed to Spectator Lot 1 or 2. $5 per day parking fee. A complimentary shuttle to the admissions gate from all parking lots and camping.  Handicap parking is available in the VIP lot. A complimentary shuttle is provided to the admissions gate\, track\, and back to the parking lot. ADA seating is accessible. \nA one-day pass is $35 or a weekend pass is $50. Free entry for 12 years and younger.  Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. \nThe Championship Off-Road event will be held by the Antigo Lions Club\, a non-profit organization whose focus is to build relationships and improve the world through kindness.

SUMMARY:2021 Wolfman Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:The Wolfman Triathlon\, presented by Wolfman Triathlon Inc.\, one of the first off road triathlon’s in Wisconsin consists of three segments: 3-mile whitewater paddle… 13-mile mountain bike ride…and 3.5-mile rugged trail run. \nRacers begin in kayaks/canoes on the very rocky 3-mile class II whitewater section of the Wolf River just north of Langlade\, WI. This downriver canoe and kayak leg ends at the DNR landing in Langlade. \nRacers then pull their boats ashore and sprint to the bike racks for a 13-mile mountain biking portion of the race. After a short ride east on highway 64\, the course enters the Nicolet National Forest and the area’s extensive network of challenging technical single-track mountain bike trails. The course eventually exits the National Forest\, crosses highway 55 south of Langlade and continues on more purpose built trail culminating with a river crossing near the end of the mountain biking course. \nThe last leg of the race is a 3.5 mile rugged trail run along the scenic Wolf River.
