“Only Fools Run at Midnight” Returns to Minocqua

By Dean S. Acheson
Join the hundreds of “fools” out for a good time on Saturday, April 3, when the Only Fools Run at Midnight foot race sets off in the dark.
The event will be held at the Lakeland Union High School (LUHS) in Minocqua. The 5k begins promptly at 10 p.m. Doors will open at 7 p.m. for registration and socializing before the event.
There will be prizes and games for the kids. The Fools Fashion Show is at 8:30 p.m., with awards for Best Dressed Fool and Best Dressed Groups of Fools. Music, snacks, and beverages will be available to all who register for the event. You can also take pictures in front of the giant Running Fool located near the finish line.
Money raised at this event will be donated to the LUHS sports teams and clubs. To register and for more information, visit minocqua.org.
