DESCRIPTION:The annual Polaris Crandon World Championship is a Labor Day weekend tradition\, a Midwest sports icon now 54 years young that proudly includes the “Super Bowl of Short Course\,” the Red Bull Crandon World Cup. \nIn 2023\, we are preparing our grounds to host up a record 400 plus Pro and Sportsman AMSOIL Championship Off-Road (COR) series teams and all of the classes that make up the Ultra4 Racing series. Racers will go all-in to earn a coveted title of 2023 Crandon World Champion. The “Forest County Potawatomi Friday Night Thunder” races will kick off the weekend\, with night racing under the lights on Saturday as well. Then it’s time for Sunday’s epic Red Bull Crandon World Cup Sunday.

SUMMARY:Special Needs ATV/UTV Ride
DESCRIPTION:Hiles-Pine Lake Campground is partnering with the Forest County ATV Association to do our first Special Needs Ride on June 10\, 2023.\nWe are working with the community to create a fun-filled day for families with special needs children/adults. We also welcome teachers\, therapists and others that support those with special needs.\nGuests will have the opportunity to stay for the events including a meal that they can purchase\, which is being prepared by the American Legion. We will have an ice cream truck\, balloon twister\, face painter and music at 7pm.\nThe Forest County ATV Association is organizing two rides. The long ride will be 60 miles\, while the other ride will be about 20 miles.\nForest County ATV members can provide rides\, you can bring your own ATV/UTV or you can rent one from Northwoods Powersports Adventures at (920) 889-5367. There is no fee to register\, but you must register by May 28th to participate. You can contact the ATV Association at (715) 889-3617 or forestcountyatv@gmail.com.

DESCRIPTION:The Ride for Research is a two-day dual sport motorcycle event based out of Wabeno in Forest County. The Wisconsin Dual Sport Riders motorcycle club puts together an entertaining and challenging ride using scenic forest roads and two tracks. Many say that the best features of this ride are the many “hero” sections of single track trail on challenging terrain. The ride also raises funds for research at the UW Comprehensive Cancer Center. Advance registration is required.
