Wishing You a Safe and Healthy Spring from Up North Action
Spring officially begins at 10:50 p.m. CDT tonight, March 19, 2020. The beginning of spring feels remarkably different this year than other years, but—just like we know the Northwoods’ forests will once again come alive with green leaves, vibrant blossoms, and awe-inspiring wildlife—we know that there will be happier, sunnier times ahead.
Like all of you, the staff at Up North Action is closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic. We have the health and safety of our team, the organizations that we work with, and our valuable community of readers uppermost in our thoughts and practices.
Protecting Our Team and Our Community
We have taken several measures to promote the health of our community. During this time, all of our team members who can work remotely will be working from home. All other staff will be limiting the hours they spend in the office. Our office hours will be temporarily changing to Monday to Thursday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
If you contact us by phone or email during this time, we will make every effort to respond as soon as possible. We sincerely appreciate your patience as we all navigate these challenging times together.
Up North Action’s Upcoming Issue
At this time, we still plan to publish our May issue of Up North Action as originally scheduled.
Be sure to sign up to have the digital version delivered right to your inbox, or grab your copy from one of our distribution racks in May.
We are looking forward to experiencing the beauty of spring Up North and highlighting the wonderful attractions and businesses that call this region home.
Up North Action Wants to Help You
Even though our office hours are temporarily limited, we encourage business owners and community members to let us know about changes to your hours and services due to the pandemic. We are here to help you get the word out! We empathize with the challenges you are facing, and we applaud your creativity, flexibility, and outstanding work during this time!
We wish you a safe and healthy spring!
